I think the concept of delivering the news vs. rehashing events that may have lead to the decision is a concept that often gets lost in the termination process.  As you say, nobody wants to be good at this, but if you are going to manage and lead, this is unfortunately part of the job.  Great read for anyone in a leadership role.</description>
